Jane Warren has been appointed as a new OPP Crown Prosecutor.
The Director of Public Prosecutions Kerri Judd QC and Chief Crown Prosecutor Brendan Kissane QC welcomed the appointment.
Ms Warren signed the Bar Roll in 2011 when she was a regional Solicitor for the OPP. Prior to that she worked in the OPP’s Specialist Sex Offences Unit between 2009 and 2010.
With a background in both prosecution and defence, Ms Warren has appeared on behalf of the DPP regularly over the past ten years and has spent a significant amount of time in the Supreme Court, both as a junior counsel and recently as a senior counsel.
“Ms Warren has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she will bring to the Crown Prosecutors’ Chambers, and we are pleased to welcome her,” Mr Kissane said.
